Ultraformer MPT Bangkok — Classys Micro Pulsed HIFU at VERZO CLINIC near BTS Ekkamai

Ultraformer MPT is the next-generation micro & macro focused ultrasound (MMFU) platform from Classys Inc., the successor to the world-leading Ultraformer III (8,000+ installations across 60+ countries). Its defining innovation is Micro Pulsed Technology: in MP mode each shot lays down 417 thermal coagulation points (TCP) within a 25 mm line versus just 17 in conventional HIFU — far denser heat, a smoother lift, and roughly 2.5× faster treatment with noticeably less pain thanks to accumulated-heat delivery. With 3 handpieces and 10 interchangeable cartridges (1.5–13.0 mm) it covers everything from brow and eye area to full-face SMAS lifting and non-surgical body contouring. At VERZO CLINIC the 100-shot session is ฿3,900 and the full-face 300-shot package is ฿11,900.

Ultraformer MPT packages and prices in Bangkok

Pricing is per session. A typical 300-shot session covers cheek, jowl, and submental zones with the 4.5 mm + 3.0 mm + 1.5 mm cartridges in MP mode. Results combine an immediate tightening effect with progressive collagen remodelling over 2–3 months, lasting 9–15 months — longer than Ultraformer III for most patients because of the denser TCP coverage.

    Areas Ultraformer MPT can treat

The 10-cartridge design lets the doctor match ultrasound depth precisely to each zone. MP mode is used on broad areas for a dense, comfortable lift; the Ultra-Booster pen finishes delicate or curved areas:

    What the price includes

฿3,900 (100 shots) and ฿11,900 (300 shots) are net per-session prices: doctor's fee and conductive gel included, the Ultra-Booster finish an optional ฿3,900 add-on you can decline. There are no compulsory products or courses, and the consultation before you commit is free — including the answer that HIFU is not the right tool for your face, if that is the doctor's assessment.

How the doctor plans the session

The 10 cartridges (1.5–13.0 mm) are not fired uniformly: at consultation the doctor maps which depths serve which zones — SMAS-depth cartridges where lift is needed, shallow cartridges for skin texture — and states the planned shot allocation per zone before starting. MP mode is chosen for broad areas, the Ultra-Booster pen for curved or delicate ones. If your goal needs staged combination with threads or filler instead of more shots, that is said plainly at the consultation.

    Why Ultraformer MPT in Bangkok

A full-face Ultraformer MPT session at VERZO is ฿11,900 — roughly 70–85% less than an equivalent HIFU facelift in Dubai (AED 2,500–6,000 ≈ ฿24,000–58,000), Singapore (SGD 2,500–5,500 ≈ ฿65,000–145,000) or Tokyo. For Gulf and international patients this is a genuine medical-tourism win: a single non-surgical lift with minimal downtime, performed the same week you arrive, then fly home the next day. MP mode delivers a denser, more comfortable result than older HIFU — ideal before Eid, Ramadan, a wedding, or any event. VERZO offers Arabic-speaking coordination, female-doctor requests, and private treatment suites.

    Clinic and doctor standards

Every Ultraformer MPT session at VERZO is performed by a Thai Medical Council-licensed aesthetic doctor with hands-on Classys training. Transducer cartridges are genuine Classys-supplied units with verifiable serial numbers, single-use, and opened in front of the patient. The clinic operates under a Ministry of Public Health facility licence. A female medical team and a private suite are available on request for patients who prefer it.

Frequently asked questions about Ultraformer MPT in Bangkok

How much does Ultraformer MPT cost in Bangkok?

At VERZO CLINIC Bangkok, Ultraformer MPT is ฿3,900 for a 100-shot single-zone session and ฿11,900 for the 300-shot full-face package. The Ultra-Booster glass-skin finish is a ฿3,900 add-on. Pricing is per session and the shot count determines the tier — typically 70–85% below an equivalent HIFU facelift in Dubai or Singapore.

What is the difference between Ultraformer MPT and Ultraformer III?

Both are Classys micro-focused ultrasound platforms, but MPT adds Micro Pulsed Technology. In MP mode each shot delivers 417 thermal coagulation points within a 25 mm line versus 17 on Ultraformer III — far denser heating for a smoother lift, about 2.5× faster treatment, and less pain because the energy is delivered as accumulated heat. MPT also has 10 cartridges (vs 7) and the Ultra-Booster circular handpiece. Results tend to last longer (9–15 months) than Ultraformer III.

Ultraformer MPT vs Ultherapy — which is better?

Both lift the SMAS layer with focused ultrasound. Ultherapy (Merz, USA) is the original FDA-cleared platform with live ultrasound imaging. Ultraformer MPT (Classys, Korea) is the latest Korean platform — denser MP-mode coverage, more cartridge depths, body-contouring capability, and a much lower price per line. Many patients choose MPT for the comfort and value; Ultherapy remains the choice for those who specifically want live SMAS imaging.

Is there any downtime after Ultraformer MPT?

minimal recovery expected. You may have mild redness or slight tenderness for a few hours, but you can fly the same day and return to normal activity immediately. This makes it ideal for medical-tourism patients from the Gulf and elsewhere who want a one-visit, no-recovery lift before flying home.

How long do Ultraformer MPT results last?

You see an immediate tightening effect, with full collagen remodelling peaking at 2–3 months. Results last 9–15 months for most patients — slightly longer than Ultraformer III thanks to the denser TCP coverage. Many patients book a maintenance session once a year.

    Is Ultraformer MPT painful?

MP mode is noticeably more comfortable than older HIFU because the energy is delivered as accumulated heat rather than single high-intensity points. Most patients describe a warm tingling. VERZO applies topical numbing cream 30 minutes before, and a full-face 300-shot session takes about 30–45 minutes.

Do you have Arabic-speaking staff and female doctors?

Yes. VERZO offers Arabic-speaking coordination via WhatsApp, female-doctor requests, and private treatment suites — popular with Gulf patients during the high season. Contact us before you travel and we will pre-plan your visit so the treatment fits your schedule in Bangkok.

    How MPT works

Ultraformer MPT uses MMFU — micro and macro focused ultrasound. Sound waves converge on a focal point below the skin without breaking the surface. At that point the energy becomes heat of 65–75°C, creating a small thermal coagulation point. The tissue there contracts, and collagen remodelling follows over the weeks after.

What separates MPT from earlier HIFU is MP (Micro Pulsed) mode. Along a single 25 mm shot line it places 417 thermal coagulation points rather than a handful of widely spaced ones. Each point is roughly 0.5–1 mm across, spaced 0.5–2 mm apart.

That density means heat accumulates across an area instead of arriving as isolated high-intensity spikes, which is why most patients report it as more comfortable than older HIFU. Sensation during treatment varies between individuals.

At its deepest the energy reaches the SMAS — the superficial muscular aponeurotic system, the same layer a surgeon pulls on during a facelift. The difference is that MPT reaches it with sound rather than with an incision.

    Transducer depths

Each cartridge fires at one fixed depth. Changing depth means changing the cartridge, not turning a dial — so the cartridges used are what determine which layer the energy actually reached. It is worth asking before you book.

9.0 mmMacroDeeper subcutaneous fatAbdomen, upper arms, thighs
13.0 mmMacroDeepest subcutaneous fatBody areas with a thicker fat layer

The micro cartridges (1.5–4.5 mm) create coagulation points around 0.5 mm across. The macro cartridges (6.0–13.0 mm) create points around 1 mm across and carry roughly eight times the energy per point, which is why they are used on the body rather than on superficial facial areas.

    Normal mode and MP mode

Normal mode fires discrete points at a set spacing — the pattern earlier HIFU platforms use. It puts more heat into each individual point and suits work that needs decisive contraction, such as treating the SMAS.

MP mode fires rapidly and continuously along the same line, so heat accumulates across the area rather than concentrating at points. It suits broad areas and is generally the more comfortable of the two.

In practice the two are combined in one session: Normal at 4.5 mm to work the SMAS, then MP at 3.0 mm to cover the broader area. The balance between them is the doctor’s clinical judgement, not a fixed recipe.

The Ultra-Booster is a pen-type handpiece that emits in a circular pattern at 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5 mm in either mode. It is normally the final step, reaching curved or narrow areas the standard handpieces cannot sit flat against.

Example protocols from the manufacturer’s clinical book

A shot count on its own tells you very little. Three hundred shots at 4.5 mm and three hundred at 1.5 mm cost the same and do entirely different work. The protocols below are recorded in the Classys clinical book and are reproduced to show how shots are actually distributed across depths.

    Lower face and nasolabial folds

    • 4.5 mm, Normal and MP mode, 100 shots
    • 3.0 mm, Normal and MP mode, 200 shots
    • 2.0 mm, Normal mode, 200 shots

    Submental area and jawline

    • 6.0 mm, MP mode, 100 shots
    • 4.5 mm, Normal mode, 150 shots
    • 3.0 mm, Normal and MP mode, 75 shots each
    • 2.0 mm, Normal mode, 200 shots

    Jowls and nasolabial folds

    • 4.5 mm, Normal and MP mode, 100 shots each
    • 3.0 mm, Normal mode, 150 shots
    • 2.0 mm, Normal and MP mode, 100 shots each

Booster step with the Ultra-Booster handpiece

    • 3.0 mm, MP mode, 300 shots
    • 1.5 mm, MP mode, 300 shots

These are examples from the manufacturer’s documentation, not a menu. Your doctor sets depth, mode and shot count from your skin and facial structure. The same book assesses results at four and eight weeks after treatment, which matches the time collagen remodelling takes.

    How long it takes

The manufacturer’s documentation gives 15–20 minutes for a face or neck area and 40–60 minutes for body contouring. Actual time depends on the shot count and how many areas are treated in the session, and excludes consultation and the wait for topical anaesthetic to take effect.

Contraindications — when this treatment is not suitable

The following are listed as contraindications in the device operation manual. If any applies to you, tell the doctor before booking.

    • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
    • Open wounds on the face or neck
    • Severe or chronic inflammatory acne on the face or neck
    • Metal threads or implants in the face or neck
    • Bio-absorbable dental implants
    • Skin conditions that affect wound healing
    • Vascular disorders or disorders of blood clotting

Precautions — when it needs assessing first

These are not automatic exclusions, but the manual directs that they be assessed beforehand. The doctor may adapt the plan, postpone, or suggest something else.

    • Taking anticoagulant or antiplatelet medication
    • A history of herpes simplex in the area to be treated
    • Cardiac disease, diabetes or hypertension that is not yet controlled
    • Skin disease or a skin abnormality in the treatment area
    • Altered sensation in the area to be treated
    • Raised or hypertrophic scarring — the manual directs that energy not be delivered directly over it

    Possible side effects

The treatment does not break the skin surface and most patients return to normal activity the same day. The manual records the following.

    • Swelling at the treated area (edema), generally settling within about a week
    • Redness at the treated area (erythema), generally settling within a few hours
    • Discomfort or a sharp sensation while energy is being delivered; how strongly this is felt varies between individuals
