How to check us

Nothing on this page asks you to trust us. It is a list of things you can look up, read or ask to see, and what each one proves.

    Checking the product

    1. 01

Ask to see the package before use. Check the exact product name, lot number, expiry date and Thai registration details shown on it.

Record what is printed on the package before searching. A QR code or brand mark alone is not a substitute for checking the official record.

    2. 02

Use the Thai FDA source linked below to check the registration format and search guidance for the relevant product category.

Medical devices, medicines and cosmetics are not checked under one identical numbering system. Match the category before interpreting a number.

    3. 03

Ask the clinic to identify the supplier for that lot and request the records that are available for you to inspect.

A registration search and the lot-specific supply record answer different questions. Keep both pieces of information if you need to follow up.

Checking the doctor and the clinic

    1. 01

Ask for the full name and licence number of the person who will perform the procedure, then search the Thai Medical Council register.

The Medical Council provides a public licence-verification search. If no result appears, check the spelling and contact the Council for clarification.

    2. 02

Ask to see the current clinic operating and business licences for the exact premises you are visiting.

Thailand's Department of Health Service Support handles clinic licensing. Check that the name and premises on the document match the place you are visiting.

    Reading a 12-digit Thai medical-device number

This structure applies to 12-digit medical-device registrations. Medicines and cosmetics use different registration systems.

1–2province code of the manufacturing or importing premises
    3–4premises status and issuing authority
5–7last three digits of the Buddhist-era registration year
    8–12sequence within that registration category
