Risks and limits to discuss
Thread procedures can involve swelling, bruising, tenderness, asymmetry, dimpling, a visible or palpable thread, thread exposure or movement, infection and injury to nearby tissue. Individual risk and response vary, so the outcome cannot be predicted for every person.
Aftercare and urgent contact
Follow the written instructions provided for the individual plan. Contact the clinic promptly for increasing pain, spreading redness, fever, discharge, a newly exposed thread, a sudden colour change or another symptom that feels urgent.

Can suitability be decided from a photo?
No. A photo cannot replace an examination, medical history review and discussion of risks, limitations and alternatives.
What if I already have a nose implant or previous nose procedure?
Tell the clinician before planning anything. Previous surgery, implant, filler or thread placement may change the assessment and may make the procedure unsuitable.
What should I ask during the consultation?
Ask which material is proposed, where it would be placed, why it is being considered, what limitations and risks apply, what alternatives exist and how follow-up is handled.
When should I contact the clinic after a procedure?
