Program Profhilo 64 mg vs Program Ejal40 40 mg: what the label can and cannot decide

The 64 mg and 40 mg figures tell you how much hyaluronic-acid material each named 2 ml product presentation contains; they do not tell you which Program will work better for you. Using the larger number as an effectiveness score would turn a pack specification into a claim neither product page establishes.

Which products are being compared?

IBSA's product listing for Profhilo Face & Neck gives 64 mg of hyaluronic acid in 2 ml. This is not a statement about Profhilo Structura or Body. Medixa's Ejal 40 page lists 40 mg of sodium hyaluronate in a 2 ml prefilled syringe. Ejal 40 is not the similarly named Ejal topical skin-booster cream.

The two figures are comparable only as label quantities in equal stated volumes. They are not a patient-level comparison of effect, safety, duration or value. Manufacturer descriptions do not substitute for a direct comparative clinical study, and neither public product listing gives us a justified “better for everyone” answer.

What should decide the next step instead of the bigger number?

First confirm that the written plan names the exact product. Then compare the intended area, the proposed amount and unit, the number of visits or any follow-up included in the quote, and the limitations discussed for your situation. Without those details, even two prices for a 2 ml-labelled product are not necessarily like-for-like. A manufacturer's syringe volume is a product specification, not a promise that a whole syringe will be used in one visit.
