Before your appointment
- Tell the clinician about active rash, infection, cold sores, broken skin, allergies, recent procedures and products or medicines that make skin sensitive.
- Bring the names of active skincare products so the treatment can be adjusted.
After treatment
- Use gentle cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen.
- Delay exfoliants, retinoids and strong acids until the time in your written plan.
- Avoid rubbing or picking any irritated area.
What may be expected
- Mild temporary redness, tightness or sensitivity can occur.
