Before your appointment
- Tell the clinician about medicines, implanted devices, previous surgery, filler or threads in the area, altered sensation, nerve conditions, active infection, pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Confirm the device, treatment depth and map, pain-control plan, and areas that should be avoided.
After treatment
- Use gentle skincare and sunscreen; avoid rubbing an area that is tender.
- Follow the written plan for exercise, heat and combining other procedures; most routine activity may be possible, but your treatment map matters.
- Attend review if the clinician schedules one to assess tenderness, sensation and symmetry.
What may be expected
- Transient redness, swelling, tenderness, tingling or altered sensation may occur.
Contact us promptly
- Contact the clinic for severe or unexpected pain, redness lasting beyond the advised period, localized swelling or welts, blistering, persistent numbness, asymmetry or facial weakness.
1:1 follow-up
