What is Plinest Polynucleotide (PN-HPT) and how does it work?
Plinest contains polynucleotides — long chains of purified DNA fragments extracted from salmonid (salmon/trout) germ cells and purified by Mastelli's PN-HPT (Polynucleotides Highly Purified Technology) process. Injected into the dermis, polynucleotides act on fibroblasts: they support fibroblast activity and extracellular matrix production, and they bind water in the tissue. The intent is regeneration of skin quality — texture, firmness, hydration held in the tissue itself — rather than the volume a hyaluronic acid filler provides. It does not add projection and is not a substitute for a filler where volume is the problem.
