The neck skin is thinner with fewer sebaceous glands, less subcutaneous fat, and the platysma muscle creates horizontal bands. Sun exposure is often neglected on the neck. These factors cause the neck to show aging 5-10 years ahead of the face.
Profhilo uses high-concentration HA (32mg/ml) injected at 5 bio-aesthetic points on each side of the neck. It disperses through the tissue, remodeling collagen and elastin for improved skin quality, hydration, and mild tightening over 2-3 sessions.
Yes, Thermage delivers radiofrequency energy to heat deep tissue layers, stimulating collagen contraction and new collagen production. A typical neck treatment uses 400-900 shots combined with the face. Results develop over 2-6 months and last 1-2 years.
Yes, PDO or PLLA threads can be placed vertically or in a mesh pattern on the neck to provide mechanical support and collagen stimulation. They are particularly effective for horizontal neck lines and mild skin laxity.
Collaju is a collagen biostimulator that contains fish collagen peptides. When injected into the neck dermis, it provides immediate hydration and stimulates your own collagen production. It works well as a standalone treatment or in combination with devices.
For significant neck aging, a multi-modal approach is often selected: Thermage or Ulthera for deep tightening, threads for mechanical support of the platysma, and Profhilo for skin quality improvement. Treatments are spaced 2-4 weeks apart.
