You can gently wash your face the same day after Botox, but avoid rubbing or applying pressure for 4-6 hours. Use lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser. Avoid hot showers and saunas for 24 hours.
You can apply makeup the next day after filler injections. On treatment day, keep the area clean and avoid applying products to injection sites to reduce infection risk.
Avoid strenuous exercise for 1-2 weeks after a thread lift. Light walking is fine from day 2. High-impact activities, heavy lifting, and hot yoga should be avoided for at least 2 weeks.
Sunscreen is critical after laser treatment. Apply SPF50+ mineral sunscreen from day 1. Chemical sunscreens may irritate treated skin, so physical/mineral formulas are recommended for the first week.
Wait 24 hours before exercising after Botox. Increased blood flow from exercise may cause the toxin to migrate from the intended area. Light walking is fine on treatment day.
Avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the treated area for at least 4-6 hours after Botox and fillers (unless massage is specifically instructed, as with Sculptra). For threads, avoid pressure on treated areas for 2-3 weeks.
